And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
Genesis 45:7-8 KJV
Embracing the Journey
Life isn’t just about reaching a specific destination but also the journey. In our last discussion, we delved into transforming setbacks into stepping stones for personal growth and discussed how being open-minded when dealing with challenges can strengthen us. We become better by facing every part of our journey with determination and optimism.
Allowing God’s Vengeance
In His infinite wisdom, God assures us that vengeance is His domain. Taking matters into our own hands can lead to undesirable outcomes. Trusting in God’s justice allows us to maintain our integrity when others attempt to devalue us, and it provides a secure foundation in times of uncertainty.
Resetting, Resting, and Reward
When we reset and rest, we are trusting God’s ability to use anything designed for our destruction to elevate us. We rest in the truth that setbacks aren’t permanent but temporary hurdles on the path to our divine destination. When faced with them, you owe it to yourself to hit the reset button and keep moving forward.
Hitting the reset button helps me to recharge my energy so that I can continue to be a patient care giver
